UTD COURSES

UTD’s Open Water class focuses on the fun of underwater exploration while teaching good diving skills, safety, and a tremendous respect for the marine environment.

UTD´s Rec 1 course is a more robust entry level class than our Open Water class. It is designed to teach NON-certified divers the wonders of diving and to build a solid UTD platform using the law of primacy as the greatest tool.

Are you an open water diver looking for the next step in advanced dive training? UTD´s Rec 2 expands your diving to deeper depths, night dives, and more advanced gases.

The UTD´s Essentials of Recreational Diving course gives every diver an opportunity to learn the personal skills needed to participate in a unified team and be in the water as a “thinking diver.”

UTD’s Essentials of Technical Diving course is the first step to move you from ‘Recreational’ diver to ‘Technical’ Diver. Essentials of Tech gives you all the personal skills you need to move to a training program that increases both depth and time in the water.

If you are already a certified diver, UTD´s ESM (Extreme Scuba Makeover) gives every diver an opportunity to learn precise buoyancy, combined with a horizontal trim position, and excellent balance. These are the hallmark of control in the water
